Designed a virtual learning course for freshman designers to better understand the industry of graphic design. Hosted live lectures over Zoom twice a week about design history, design practice, presentation skills, color theory, and copyright laws. Created and graded assignments weekly based on the topic. Taught an average of 14 students per class.

Worked with a small, in-house team as the sole graphic designer. Followed university brand standards and helped to re-brand the SAC —including designing a new logo and a new website in Drupal. Conducted routine maintenance checks over the website. Collaborated with print services on campus to create promotional and informational brochures and posters.

Worked with a small communications team as the sole graphic designer. Followed university and college brand standards in both digital and print materials. Created informational brochures for the School of Education and promotional materials for CHS Week. Designed a stunning vector-illustrated backdrop for a student orientation photo booth. This illustration is of Iowa State’s campus and my design is still used to this day at student events. Designed center spread for HS Matters, the magazine sent out to all College of Human Sciences alumni.
